When we were designing Make.Work.Space we had an incredible brainstorming session about things we could see inventors creating out of the space. Here's what we came up with...but it's just a start...inventors are only limited by their imaginations.

  • A store-bought personal satellite that launches via a small biodegradable helium balloon
  • A battery-powered lightweight compact wheelchair that weighs less than 50 pounds
  • A remote underwater vehicle, controlled via your smart phone
  • An ingestible medical device used to detect maladies of the digestible tract
  • A new motorcycle (everything except the engine)
  • A part necessary to manufacture a new medical device
  • An innovative new office chair that saves backs and works your core (without looking like a big ball)
  • A new food spoilage detection sensor to cut down on food waste
  • A beautiful new lamp, designed by architects, which wins Best of Show at Salone del Mobile in Milan
  • A radical new caulk gun for DIYers that doesn't drip caulk everywhere
  • A new, award-winning dining room chair, crafted from wood substitute Ekoa, created by Joe Luttwak

What are you inventing, and how can we help? Come on in. Inspire us. Challenge us.
